Laura Morales wrote on the Chapter: UT Austin Chapter wall: Hello, I am Laura Morales, a member of Texas NLGJA 🏳️‍🌈I just wanted to announce our first meeting ✨NEXT THURSDAY AT 6 P.M.✨over Zoom. It would be amazing to have members from the national chapter attend as well to network with young journalist. Overall, our student organization hopes to provide a space for LGBTQ+ and ally students to learn about the LGBTQ+ representation in the news media and connect y’all with opportunities in the journalism field.
